Does it cost money to join?

No absolutely not, its 100% free to use.
To register as a member takes just fifteen seconds.

How do I set an Alert?

Log in and click on your account, at the bottom you will see "offer alert frequency" simply choose what type of email notification frequency you want.
You can choose, one hour before product goes live, once a day, once a week, once a month. Select your preference and click on the update information button.
Please note you can change frequency as much as you like. You control this 100%. We will be adding a text alert soon, so keep checking back. Also note, in this area you can change your personal account details any time you like.

How can I switch off an alert?

Log in and click on your account, at the bottom you will see "offer alert frequency" simply choose No Notification and click on the update information button.

How does the wish list work?

Browse products by category, if you spot something you want click on add to shopping basket, this is synchronized with your alert, by adding to your wish list, you can already see in advance how much the product will cost. This is not a real shopping basket feature in case you are confused, meaning you have not bought the product yet. In order to by the product, you must wait until the happy hour. You will need to be logged in a ready to move fast prior to the product becoming live. You will see a link appear within that happy hour (please note, if the happy hour has arrives and no link is visible, just refresh the page) once the link is visible, click on it. You will be taken to the merchant's store where you can purchase the product directly from them. If you cant see the link and have refreshed the page and the link is still not visible, this could mean that the product was hot and has sold out. Snooze you loose, fastest finger on the mouse.

I have not received my product.

Please contact the merchant directly.
You should have their contact details on the order reference number that was given to you when you bought the product.
If you are really stuck and cant find any communication from the merchants email members at thehappyhourshop.co.uk.
Tell us your user name, merchant you bought the product from and a date. We can then contact the merchant on your behalf.

We would be so delighted if you did, we are such a small company and we are always in a chicken and egg predicament.
The more members we have, the more merchants will want to participate. We see this as a community and not just our business, in other words your input is vital to making this whole project a success. We appreciate your loyalty and by way of thanks, we have a few freebies to be snagged so look out for them. And use our blog for comments and suggestions :0)

Do we really have one hour to buy the product?

Where by our merchants have products in volume, then yes you have sixty minutes.
Where by you are already logged in before the product becomes live, yes you have a full sixty minutes. Where by our merchants products are either so popular that they sell out or where quantity is low, then you wont have sixty minutes, it will be fastest finger on the mouse to place an order.

Example, if widget A is about to go on sale at 8.am and you log in at 8.15 you only have forty five minutes left.
If widget goes on sale at 8am and you log in at 8.15 am and the product is sold out, then you will see that the product has gone and is either replaced by a coupon/voucher or different product. But you never know, the product may come back again on that day, week or month.
You have to keep checking back.

Please note it is our policy not to give out information about products availability as this would put our members at an unfair disadvantage. Please do not ask either staff of The HappyHourShop or merchants, you agreed to do this when you agreed to our terms and conditions.

How will I know if the product is coming back.

You need to keep logging in and checking what's coming up. Part of the fun and frustration is not knowing what coming up and what's coming back, but here is a little secret, we know what is selling like wild fire, we can spot what you want and we can go back to the merchant and make requests. Behind the scenes we are working on your behalf.

I want to unsubscribe from TheHappyHour monthly news letter

Log in and click on your account, second from the bottom you will see a tick box, simply un check the box and click on the update information button.
There will also be an opt out link from within the last monthly news letter we sent to you. You can follow the remove instructions from there.

I am a merchant and I would like to get my products listed, who do I need to contact?

The link to product - what goes in here?

The link to product is exactly that. It is a URL - no tracking code at all. when you signed up to TheHappyHourShop you told us which affiliate network you use and what your merchant ID is - our software builds the full affiliate link.

We would require more categories listed?

Merchant feedback is always encouraged, so please contact us to suggest categories, or with any other suggestions.

Why should I list a quantity if the promotion is only live for one hour?

This is important to some merchants. If an MP3 player shop wants to generate new custom and interest in their brand they may offer an 80GB IPod Video RRP £199.99 for £49.99. Even with the limit of the hour the retailer may wish to limit the offer as they make no money or a small loss on each one sold. In this case the merchant needs to be able to track the number sold. If there are only 10 available it makes more of a game on the Fastest Finger On The Mouse / Snooze you Loose philosophy of the site.
